Effluent Disposal

All treated wastewater is chlorinated prior to re-use or disposal. Chlorine disinfects the treated waste-water, killing off any unwanted bacteria that may still be present prior to disposal.

• Kill bacteria in discharge water
• Prevent disease causing micro organisms entering the water body into which the treated sewage water is discharged

0.5 - 2 ppm

RO Feed Water

The feed water for Reverse Osmosis Plant requires prior chlorination for controlling the R.O. membrane corrosion.

• Prevent Slime entering R.O. membranes
• Control Corrosive Bacteria entering R.O. membranes
